The organizing committees of the ITNS conference have finalized their preparations for holding the conference. The conference which will be inaugurated by the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques, and held between the 21st and the 24th of the current Islamic month, will be under the direct supervision of the head of the GIP, prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz, who is also the chairman of the conference.
In a statement by his Highness, the head of the GIP, he extended his gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques for patronizing the conference and for his continuous support for all developments taking place in the field of technology and information. He stressed that this comes within the concerns of the King for all that drives the wheel of development and advancement in the Kingdom, and for keeping pace with the latest developments in the IT field.
From his side, the Assistant to the head of the GIP, and the general supervisor of all committees organizing the conference, prince Abdulaziz bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, also expressed his appreciation and gratitude, on this occasion, to the head of the GIP for his continuous following of all the activities carried out by the committees, and for providing all necessary facilities for securing the success of the conference and achieving its intended goals. He also thanked the researchers for their efforts in preparing research and work papers that will be exhibited during the conference.

In this context, his Highness pointed out that the conference aims essentially towards giving an opportunity to researchers and those interested, to meet and discuss matters related to the utilizing of modern IT in the field of security. The conference will cover many aspects, including: the role of IT in bolstering social security, the role of IT in bolstering economic security, the role of IT in political security, IT at the service of security personnel, and the practical applications of technology in the field of national security
